Certificate Programs

The John C. Stalker Institute of Food and Nutrition offers three certificate programs. These programs are designed to increase the knowledge and skills for senior management in Child Nutrition Programs in Massachusetts; empower teachers of health, physical education and consumer sciences with nutrition expertise; and to improve the leadership and management skills of school and child care food service managers in Massachusetts.

Certificate in Excellence in Child Nutrition
The Certificate in Excellence in Child Nutrition is designed for directors and senior management staff of Child Nutrition Programs as well as individuals on a career path to becoming directors.

Certificate in Food Service Management
The Certificate in Food Service Management is targeted to school and child care food service managers.

Certificate in Nutrition Education (online)
The Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Education is designed for both nutrition professionals and teachers, to gain additional expertise in nutrition.
