Overview
The John C. Stalker Resource Library, located within the Whittemore Library, Room UM27, on the Framingham State College campus, is a free lending library open to anyone working in a Massachusetts school. The library includes over 1100 references, curricula, and training materials in:
- Nutrition and Nutrition Education
- Food Service Management
- Child Nutrition Programs
- Food Science
- Food Safety
- And more . . .
Lending Policy
- Resources may be borrowed by anyone working in a Massachusetts school or by Framingham State College (FSC) Students.
- Borrowers will need to show their FSC identification card or obtain a JSI Library User Card from the John Stalker Institute. Contact JSI to obtain the card.
- A maximum of four items may be borrowed at a time.
- Lending time is three weeks, starting on the day the resource is mailed.
- The borrower is responsible for returning resources no later than the date marked on the card.
- If an extension is needed, you must call and request it. Renewal will be given if no one else has requested the resource.

Lost Resources
The borrower is responsible for full replacement costs plus a 20% processing charge for any resources not returned. Framingham State College students: Semester grades will not be released until all resources have been returned or replacement costs paid.
