The Massachusetts Coordinated School Health Program
A collaborative effort between the Massachusetts Department of Education (MDOE) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH). This program addresses 9 components to promote health and wellness among students to reduce youth health risk behaviors relating to physical activity, nutrition and tobacco use that can result in chronic disease. The program promotes effective school policies, environmental changes and educational strategies at the local level.
